IPTV on your Smart TV: which store, which steps
The biggest difference between Smart TVs is which operating system they run. Find yours below, and the rest is simple.

Android TV and Google TV
Open Google Play on the TV
Sign in with a Google account if you are asked. Many TVs sold in India use this system.
Search for the player we name
Install it directly on the TV. Voice search on the remote will spare you some typing.
Enter your details
Open the app and enter your login. Many apps also let you paste it from your phone.
Samsung Smart TV
Press Home and open Apps
Use the search icon inside the Apps area.
Search for the player we name
Choices depend on the TV’s age and region, so tell us your model and we will suggest one that is available for you.
Sign in or register your device
Some players show a device code. Send it to us and we will link your account.
LG Smart TV
Open the LG Content Store
Press Home, then choose the store, which may be named Apps on newer sets.
Search for the player we name
As with Samsung, the list changes with the age of the TV, so give us your model.

The LG pointer remote makes it easier to type, as it works a little like a mouse.
If your TV is more than a few years old
App makers eventually stop supporting older TV systems. You might find no suitable player in the store, or an app that crashes. This is common, and it does not mean you need a new TV.
Plug in a streaming stick through HDMI instead. You keep your picture quality and get a fresh, supported menu.

- Use the TV’s network port if the router is close by
- Turn off motion smoothing if faces look strange
- Install TV software updates when they are offered
- Restart the TV fully every so often, not just standby

We will name the right player for it before you pay.
