IPTV on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad
Apple’s devices are simple to set up, with one thing to know: all apps come from the App Store, and the good IPTV players sometimes have a small fee. It is worth paying for one that suits you.
On an Apple TV
Open the App Store on the Apple TV
Search there, not on your phone. A few apps are only for iPhone and will not show up on the TV.
Install the player we recommend
Tell us your Apple TV model, as older versions may not run the newest apps.
Enter your details
Your iPhone can act as a keyboard when a text box appears on screen, which saves a lot of clicking.
iPhone and iPad
The steps are the same, on a smaller screen. Search the App Store, install the player and paste your login from WhatsApp. An iPad on a stand makes a fine kitchen TV.
AirPlay to your TV
With an AirPlay-compatible TV, you can send the picture from your iPhone. It is handy now and then, but a player running on the TV itself will be steadier for long viewing.

Why do some players cost money?
Their developers charge for them, usually as a one-time fee or a small subscription, paid to Apple. That fee is separate from your plan with us. We will tell you if the player we recommend has a fee.
An app has vanished from the App Store. What now?
Apps do come and go. If you already have it installed, it may well keep working. If not, ask us for a current alternative: your login details can be used in another player.
My Apple ID is registered in another country. Does that matter?
It can do, as the App Store differs by region, and an app may not be available in yours. This is common for families abroad. Let us know your region and we will suggest what is available.
